Social Networking Made Easier for College Buddies
Two college friends created Next Round, a social networking site where men could talk with each other about sports and current events. But they wanted a more exclusive application than those found on popular social networking sites like Facebook or MySpace.
Sol created a custom social networking application with a focus on usability and speed. Their twist on social networking was to provide private groups with content updated instantly in a chat like format. Leveraging the latest web technologies, the site was easier for members to use than many desktop applications. As a result, site usage and user retention increased – and profits followed.
