Services: Total Drupal Customization, Site Build Out, & Implementation

CNN Traveller, a bimonthly travel magazine and website, aspired to be more of an online City Search by providing locally-based professional editors and contributors with an editorial outlet. CNN and its technology partner, Matrix, chose the open-source platform, Drupal, as the content management solution for the new website, called CNNGO. Sol was approached because of our extensive background and expertise in custom content management systems. During the development of the application, we created more than 20 custom Drupal modules for CNNGO. In essence, this was a complete retooling of the Drupal concept and a customized content management system specific to CNNGO’s unique needs.

CNNGO now functions as a place where world travelers can truly connect with the heart and soul of a destination. The site has launched with six Asian cities and will expand to include other destinations in coming months.
