Organizational Skills

If you’re a graphic designer, you must have thousands of fonts on your computer. You probably don’t know what half of them look like, the other half you probably never use.
I have tried other font managers such as Extensis Suitcase and the built-in Mac Font Book. Both were met with limited success. Suitcase crashed often and hogged up all my resources, and Mac’s Font Book did a good job, but just wasn’t powerful enough.
Then I stumbled upon Linotype’s FontExplorer X.
A lightweight application that works very similar to iTunes. It gives you the ability to preview your installed fonts as well as fonts available to purchase from Linotype. So if you can organize your mp3 collection successfully, you can do the same with your fonts.
And plus, it’s all for free and only available for Mac, sorry PC.

Looks like there is a PC version.
I just downloaded it, but haven’t played with it yet.
